Summary / Kata Kunci : Gender as a problem develops quickly recently and got a lot of atten¬tions. This happens because the previous analysis ignored discussion about gender. Maggie Humm (2002:177) defined gender as attibutes and behavior which are on men or women, which were formed culturally. As a theory, gener analysis is to give meaning, concept, assumption and ideology how the relationship between men and women and the impact to all aspects of social, politic, economic, cultural life which haven't been analyzed by oher social theories.
Bi-logy Bekisar Merah was chosen because there was an assumption that "blasteran", mix of Javanese-Japanese, reflects various social injustice caused by gender which has significant relevance to social realities. As a social phenomenon, literature does not go out from traditions and norms upheld in the society where the author lies (Wellek, 1993:110). The sory of Bi-logy BM is analyzed through Feminist Literary Criticism point of vies be¬cause it describes women in margin position and their loyalty to man as well as an effort to be out from men superiority, as performed by Lasi, the leading actor of this story. As an indo, she is fatalist for everything she gets in her life. She has to accept the reality that she is a "second wife", even as a "stock wife" who can be lent to other men. The community considers her as a bad luck, so no young boy who wants to propose her. Her loyal ty to keep her dignity as a wife, a wife of a husband, snowed by keeping herself and refusing politely from men superiority, and then return to Kanjat.
By Feminist Leterary Criticism, a women who is indo, a legal wife, a "stock wife" posted in inferiority and marginalization as well. The asymmet¬ric polarization leads to a condition that women belong to men so they have to follow men. Patriarchy system which considers men are superior to women and their children in theri familiy and their society (lerner, 1986:239). lasi is considered as a goods. this consideration forces men to do violence to women in a kind of pornography, sexual harrasment and prostitution. in this case, the women identitiy is reduced on bio-sexual aspect by using body as an object of passions.
